this hotel was average

Heated Pool area was closed for first day of our arrival, and kids play ground consists of a slippery slide in a cold corner behind buiding. Not enough parking in front of each unit. room was equiped with basics only. price booked on the net was dearer than price advertise locally- poor value for money. Restaurant/room service was excellent, Housekeeping excellent. Motel located on edge of town away from shopping/takeawy precinct. Informaton brochures in unit limited on publicity for other restaurants/dining other than onsight, and limited info on local attractions.

Fantastic town with heaps of ammenities, servces and Zoo well worth visiting. Sunday Trading.

Zoo grossly overpriced, worth in my opinion, ok for kids perhaps , to many deer like animals??

Met the mark

The Cattlemans is in a good spot, close to town (just over the river) and near the Zoo. Pretty basic rooms but everything we needed for a good nights sleep. You would want to have a car with you to stay here as it would be a little too far to walk to things in town.

See the Zoo. Have lunch at the Milestone Hotel & breakfast at the Grapevine.

Throughly enjoyed the overnight stay at the Cattleman's.

Very nice and clean and tidy. Far enough off the main road to enjoy a very good night's sleep without any heavy vehicle traffic disturbance. Facilities in the room were outstanding and the bed was very comfortable as well. The only detractor was that I had to phone reception for directions to get to the propoerty. Perhaps more signage or better directions on the website may assist.

Dubbo is central to the Brisbane - melbourne Trip. The Taronga West Plains Zoo was a draw card.
